Went here on a friend’s recommendation (gee, thanks! as it was a lovely day here. Long queue to get in so we waited for 30 mins to get in thinking it must be great. Eventually I and my 2 colleagues (spread of ages, 20-40 get a perch at the end of another table. Totally squeezed in, I had an upturned, stylised, oxygen tank to sit on. Took another 25 mins to even be able to order drinks. Were refused a food order as it was happy hour and they had to get the drinks orders in. They kindly let us order food a little later. We had burgers (mine veggie as that is pretty much it on the menu plus a choice of 3 salads. Food was average at best, cold unseasoned fries (ok to serve like this, but please bring salt alongside and no sauces to complement. It’s clearly a hyped up place judging by the queues. To be fair it’s in a lovely location, but they greedily cram so many people in that you fail to see the view anyway. Food is totally unremarkable and the experience overall is poor. Went back to our hotel where we spend the drinks money on cocktails in the hotel bar and they did well out of it. Would have spent at Star Ferry if they had bothered to come at any point and ask if we wanted more drinks...
Found this place by accident wandering along the river so stopped for a beer. Over 80 to choose from and a reasonable price. A great location to watch the world go by and have a chat whilst enjoying a cold beer.
Always a choice of beers, the sun on the terrace, burgers and salads are good. A place to do in Lyon when the sun is at the rendezvous you will not be disappointed
