When I called... read more My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered two large pizzas, each different, but they both arrived the same after a long wait. When I called to inform them and request a resend, they claimed they would "sort me out next time," making me hesitant to return. I left a mediocre review on Just Eat, only to discover days later that they had replied with blatant lies, stating that they offered to resend one pizza and that I never mentioned they were cold. In reality, we had not touched the pizzas out of fear of receiving another identical order, and only realized they were cold after starting to eat them. I did not want to confront them again, so we just ate the cold pizzas. I suggest reading the reviews on Just Eat to see how rude and confrontational this restaurant can be. I will not be dining here again and question if they will reply to this review with more lies.

So, I decide... read more We recently moved to the area in September and started ordering from the closest takeaway. It was decent, but not as good as our previous favorite. So, I decided to browse Just Eat and discovered Gio's. After looking through the menu, I was impressed and placed an order. For the past few weeks, we have been consistently ordering from Gio's at 21 Derwent Road for our weekend takeaways. We are now loyal customers and wouldn't order from anywhere else. The food is consistently delicious, and as a family of 5, we have tried almost everything on the menu. The delivery driver is always friendly, and the food consistently arrives sooner than expected. Thank you, Gio's! X
