Sadly they seated us right in the far corner n... read more Planned to have dinner here with my husband. The photos looked lovely so I thought sitting outside would be nice. Sadly they seated us right in the far corner near where stuff is stored no where near anyone else, even though I had booked. I...asked for a cocktail and was informed that there was no barman, at 7.30pm, on a Saturday night.. I asked to move to the bar area. They let us move. The music unfortunately was just awful. It was some 90s car radio music that you find yourself having to listen to on a taxi journey and it really didn't compliment the lovely hip space outside. The waiter then said I could have a cocktail. It was badly made and I think that they had just thrown it together themselves. My husbands beer was much smaller than it said on the menu, but they still charged us the same price for it even though it was wrongly listed. We left asap and went somewhere with good music and a working barman.

Has great potential, spacious restaurant and outside seared area in good weather, close to the lake, very busy, I went there with friends for their Apero night... read more Has great potential, spacious restaurant and outside seared area in good weather, close to the lake, very busy, I went there with friends for their Apero night that starts around this time going forward into the Summer months, we waited over an hour to be...served, kept asking the waiters if we could order they said they would come to our table but didn 't, there were not enough staff to cover the tables and other guests got served before us who arrived after us, I felt this was quite rude and bad service, will not be going there again.

We try Ciani Lugano from outside l... read more Walking on the lake of Lugano arrive the lunch time . Usually in Switzerland you expect medium quality and crazy high prices. We try Ciani Lugano from outside looks nice . But inside what a surprise nice tables with the right space , professional waiters...a nice lunch menu for 35 Eu . Really money well spent . We suggest to all we have no doubt that anyone will be satisfied . When we will be back in Lugano we will return for sure . Thanks to all the staff for our positive experience
