The... read more After checking out the reviews, I was really looking forward to this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was let down when I picked up my $12 chicken fried steak. The portion was quite small, resembling more of a kids' meal. I could have gotten a similar dish at Grandy's for just $3.99.

The hostess was very welcoming, and our wonderful waitress, along with every other server who passed by our table, was incredibly helpful and cheerful. The owner, who personally served our food, was fantastic too. The food was superb! It's not easy to impress my husband with a perfect steak, but Mitchell's Place succeeded brilliantly! We will definitely return very soon. Thank you all for a memorable Valentine's Day experience!
