Springfield - Lucan
Springfield
Description
The Springfield offers a mixed dining and hospitality experience. While the hotel impresses guests with its welcoming staff and well-appointed rooms, reviews highlight inconsistencies in food quality and service. Diners have noted overpriced meals lacking unique selection, while others praised the simple yet well-cooked dishes. Service issues, such as slow staff and unclean tables, have been reported. However, standout moments like delightful pavlova and the attentive team during events, such as weddings and holiday dinners, shine through. Many agree that with some improvements, this venue holds great potential for future visits.

Good location for Dublin area access. Food is decent and great staff. Nice pint of Guinness.
The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. A great pub is a 10-minute walk down the road.
Went in for carvery. Only ok. Normally 2 options of meat or fish. Just standard fare. 17 euro is on the expensive side though. Stuffing is the usual breadcrumbs they serve up now as stuffing. Make sure to get a gravy boat..
