I've been 3 times now and the food was amazing! 2 of the times the service was very slow, they were however very busy and they may have issues with staffing levels so only knocking one star. What Haven Cook doesn't like about Mcvey's:
Don’t waste your time. Waited over a hour and never received our food. The best the manager could do was “rush our food” because there was a “glitch in the system” didn’t notice the glitch til after we waited a hour. View all feedback.

Have been going to McVeys for years!!! Can't beat their chicken or the perch!!! Love the side dishes of cole slaw and kidney beans... The staff is amazing. Have never been disappointed in the food or service.
Hadn't been there in awhile. Food quality definitely went down. They have food runners that were bringing out the food when it was ready if the waitress was busy. These were young girls that had no idea how to serve a person, one of the girls actually leaned over the round table we were sitting at to hand the plate of food to me across the table. The new York strip had no flavor. Not sure I'll go back.
12 piece broasted chicken with two large sides just over $24 with tax! So tasty! Such a deal! Parking: Free parking lot behind the building.
