We went in and sat next to the door which wad open. Today is showerly and people wering fleece. I closed the door. The ownr came right awsy and closed. I opened again complained it it too cold. The safe said it is too hot for us! What a place! I thought customer is always right. I have 3 layers on me and a rain coat, which I cannot take off in the shop. Coffee is not the best. Cake is served very thin although taste OK. Disappointing no lemon where sells Earl Gray.

Excellent savoury cream tea which I haven’t seen anywhere else before and the ham and cheese panini was also great. Lots of homemade cakes that are good value for money. Friendly staff and hope to come back here next time we’re in Looe.

Unfortunately, the cafe was closed on a very rainy day. Despite it being peak season, there was no explanation for the closure. Another local cafe mentioned that they do well on cold, wet days, so it is unclear why this cafe chose to close. Additionally, their closing time of 5pm seems to be an exaggeration as they typically start cleaning up around 4pm. A sign should be posted if there is a valid reason for the closure.

I had to wait for a table upstairs, and they were not willing to be flexible about seating me downstairs.
