The curry chicken, lamb, and mixed vegetables were incredibly delicious, accompanied by rice, naan, and a piece of tandoori chicken served with homemade yogurt. The naan was authentic, so I'm pretty sure they have a clay oven. The service was efficient and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back!

Perhaps this is how they cater to the local palate. The dhal fry was yet another bland dish, failing to embody its traditional characteristics. The only redeeming aspect was the naan. While the sizzler was served hot, both the dhal and naan arrived cold. It seems that Motijheel Tandoori is one of the many Indian restaurants in London that pretend to offer authentic Indian cuisine, though it appears to be operated by Bangladeshis.
