This was an excellent menu. We came at the time they were offering “menu” (appetizer+main+drink+dessert) at an incredible price! Highly recommend the jabalí paella (wild hog)

We stumbled by chance into here for the menu del dia. What a happy accident! The decor is charming, the staff are delightful and the food is absolutely out of this world. My husband had rice with octopus starter- delicious. I had white bean stew. Fine. Mains were marvellous. Husband had the recommended pork cheek, I had red tuna on a bed of caramelised onion and apple. In many years of eating fish it was the most delicious tuna I have ever tasted! Husband loved his pork. One pudding was meringue with hot chocolate sauce, sweet but very light. The cheesecake was sensational and I don't even like cheesecake. Absolutely gorgeous! I had a glass of excellent rosado. With two coffees and water the bill was just over 40 euros. Price is unimportant though. It's just magnificent food.

This restaurant was a great find from the advice of a local resident. When we sat down we were served a complementary appetiser of tuna pate on a biscuit. As starters, we had the best home cooked 'croquetas de jamon ' that we have ever tasted, followed by some delicious 'chuletillas lechales de cordero ' beautifully cooked served with home made chips and pimientos de Padron. The service was very friendly and the whole experience very pleasurable. We highly recommend it.

Though service was ok, the food came in rather bland when it comes to taste. The ceviche was very disappointing since it was pretty much flavourless, though we overheard some people complimenting the chef for this very dish. It might as well be that Spaniards in general are not used to the strong flavours from the South-American cuisine (i.e. cilantro, lime and so on). For us, the dish left us rather underwhelmed. Then, we had what seemed to be a very promising sea bass, though it came overdone and pretty bland. I am not the kind of person who complains at the restaurant but I did this time. The reaction from the waiter was very professional, so at least we could have been offered a solution, had we complained when food was first served. The rabbit was delicious, though. Definitely a must-have at this restaurant.

The waiters are really kind, smiling and professional. The menu has traditional dishes and some of new inspiration with local products. Desserts also very good. Very nice decoration. I visit Logroño very often and for me is the best value for money in town.
