Reviews - Scripts Cafe
Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of Lockport, this restaurant boasts a menu filled with delicious food and an enticing range of coffee drinks, all served in a charming setting. Diners rave about the freshness and quality of the offerings, particularly standout items like the Scrips Club sandwich and chocolate coffee shake. However, the experience is marred by inconsistent service. Many patrons report feeling ignored, encountering disengaged staff, and facing long waits for their orders. While the atmosphere is inviting, a significant overhaul in service etiquette is necessary to elevate the overall dining experience.

Great place for wraps. I got the tuna wrap on spinach wrap and it was delicious. Highly suggest
This is a cute local cafe with a lot of food options. Quick, friendly service and a lot of seating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including healthy choices. We thoroughly enjoy our visits every time we go.
Food? FantasticCustomer service? Absolutely atrocious. My cousin and I ordered two sandwiches at the counter. We sat down and waited. 15 minutes later we decided to get it to go because we thought the food would have been up already because there were about 5 people inside, all who had eaten or were still eating. Another 15 minutes goes by and still nothing. I go ask what's taking so long and all the girls behind the counter are just standing there on their cell phones. A guy came from the kitchen and asked my name for the order. It had been sitting on the counter for a while now and no one told us. Food is cold now. Again, fantastic food, some of the absolute worst customer service.
Food is amazing ! Staff is great! Location is easy to find , parking (depending on time) can be a little challenging if you want to park out front and run in to get your food. The menu has a ton of variety, there is something for everyone ! You will enjoy it and be happy you tried this restaurant. They close earlier 6pm , 4pm on Saturday and are not open on Sundays. They open early for great breakfast items ! Scripts juice a couple of doors down is also fantastic!
Delicious food and a large selection of coffee drinks, in the charming atmosphere of one of Lockport's lovely, old brick buildings. Great place to bring a friend, take a seat by one of the windows, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and watch the world go by.

The place is pretty close so I gave it a try. The service was good but unfortunately the product needs work. The smoothie was way too runny/milky and had a slight “rotten” taste like the fruit was old or going bad. Honestly it tasted like something I could make at home, which isn’t a good thing when it comes to a smoothie. I’d work on fresh ingredients and a thicker consistency with better flavors.
Friendly service and yummy food! There are only a few tables inside with bar style seating at the front window/garage door and two or three tables out on the sidewalk. I didn't have a problem having a seat when I went; it seems a lot of people order to go.They have a selection of toasts, smoothies and bowls. I got the blueberry hill bowl and my boyfriend got the OG. Both were acai based. Mine was topped with blueberries, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, banana and granola. His was topped with strawberries, blueberries, banana, coconut and granola. The bowls were refreshing on a hot summer day and left us feeling satisfied... So satisfied we may have gone back the next day for lunch.
I absolutely love their açaí bowls! They're delicious! Our favorites are the Tropicana and OG. The staff is really friendly too. We usually call ahead to place our order for pickup, as it takes a little while to prepare everything fresh. It's definitely worth the wait! I haven’t eaten in the restaurant because it’s a bit small, but there are a few cute tables and a bar that overlook Main Street.
I ordered the quinoa and roasted vegetable bowl, while my husband opted for the Greek salad. Both dishes were fantastic! The only drawback was the lack of decaf coffee.
I’m thrilled to have discovered a fantastic, fresh smoothie spot in Lockport! Scripts Juice might be a small place that’s easy to miss next to the theater and the larger Scripts Cafe on the corner, but it definitely deserves its own recognition! The flavor combinations and the various add-ons allow you to customize your smoothie, bowl, or toast to your exact preferences. They even have a seasonal menu that changes regularly to keep you coming back. The portions are generous, and the smoothie bowl is the perfect size to satisfy me for lunch. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times, but trust me, it’s worth it for the freshest smoothie in town! P.S. The seating area is cozy, but on a beautiful sunny day, when they roll up the garage door wall, you’ll want to snag a seat and enjoy your smoothie there!
