The Tower Fish - Lockerbie
The Tower Fish
Description
**Restaurant Review: The Tower Fish Bar**
The Tower Fish Bar offers a mixed experience for diners in Lockerbie. While some customers rave about perfectly cooked chips and generous portions at reasonable prices, others express disappointment with food quality, portion size, and questionable hygiene practices. Service inconsistencies have also been noted, with reports of rude interactions and lack of attention to customer requests. However, many agree that the location is convenient, with accessible parking and a friendly atmosphere. Overall, while the establishment has loyal patrons, diners are advised to weigh their options carefully before indulging in a meal here.

I've visited this chip shop twice now and found both the food and prices to be great. The service is quick, and I never have to wait long to be served.
However, I did notice that the social distancing and food handling protocols weren't being followed. For example, picking up customers' food with fingers is a major no-no. I'm left wondering if Scotland has the same inspection systems and reporting procedures as the rest of the UK. I don't recall seeing any signs in the window indicating their compliance.
The girl serving food was picking up the fish , sausages etc with her bare hands and then taking money off customers, don't they get given tongs? Put me right off my food.. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
