Hot meals, pastries, cakes sandwiches and baguettes are available from this cafe located inside the Pingo Doce supermarket. Simple but tasty food we bought some baguettes for lunch.
This resteurent does not exist and there is nobody and nothing inside.I read fev reviews before we went to Lsisbon and we wanted to eat there but it seems as if it was closed for many days
Nice and tasty food but was a little cold.staff does not speak good english.toilet has no lock (may be it's common here.i don't know the traditions well:
Restaurante Bom Apetite was a 'find ' for us on a recent visit to Lisbon. Located just off Avenida da Liberdade in the center of the city, this family-run restaurant served delightfully excellent dinners (we went twice) in a casual setting. The 'charcoal grilled ' seafood entrees were delicious, as was the 'boiled cod with potatoes, egg and vegetables '. The soups and desserts were great. The friendly, unhurried service added to our very good dinners. Remember to bring cash, this relatively low cost restaurant doesn 't take credit cards.
We saw the small restaurant from the street parallel to Avenida de Liberdade and decided to have a closer look. My gut feeling said find something else due to the menus in English and German on the advertisenent board but still we decided to give it a try. We got a table quickly but while waiting for the menu, I heard how the (only) waiter told the Asian girl at the next table that he was unable to take her drink order since he had so much to do. We ordered, fish for one person and pork with rice instead of french fries plus a pepper sallad and half a bottle of wine for both of us. What we received later was the fish and pork with french fries. No wine and no salad. I was told that I would get the rice but I never saw it. The french fries must have been poorly fried deepfrozen ones. I tried only one which was as bad as I it looked, pale and crunchy like liquid. The fish and the meat however were good so the chef obviously can cook, it is just the waiter who messes things up big time. A lady who had ordered omelet was brought a salad, her friends also got salads which no one seemed to have ordered. At another table a lady got potatoes and something which was also wrong. The waiter seems completely unable to organise his job but on the other hand it cannot be his first year and I doubt even decade doing it. The kitchen saves the second star but the waiter reduces the grade from 4*. I should add that the waiter did apologise at the end but that does not make up for the lack of service before.
