Waldschlößchen - Lienen

We were there for two nights. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are very freshly renovated and modern and well furnished. In addition, we had a small terrace with table and 2 chairs on the afternoon the sun seemed. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of fresh products. Special wishes have been met. Dinner a' la Carte was also super fresh and very tasty. The price-performance ratio of the food is somewhat higher overall, but due to the good quality is fine.

Great location with beautiful view over Lienen; However, if you want to eat, you have to take a very long waiting period. The cook seems to love the chaos, because the food (if they come after a minimum of 1.5 hours) will be brought individually to the tables, so that for several people there will be several minutes before all of them have their order. We were two and have broken off after we had to wait a long time for our carvings and we were told that the table with the 7 people was still in front of us. The host was only lapidar and also cheeky, they would not be a fast restaurant. Had to pay for 2 salads (which one gets immediately after the order), 1 water and 1 yeast wheat 23,50 €!!! Thank you and that was it for us.

Very good service, always responsive and completely uncomplicated. Very nice terrace with great views. Again!

The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is very tasty and you realize that everything is freshly prepared. Nevertheless, the waiting time is really enormously long. I waited for a carving with pommes for the last time, for example, 1.5 hours. The waiting time is still worth it! I'll be back:

We spent a great evening on weekends with a bigger group in the Waldschlößchen. The terrace is simply fantastic and the food is pointed. The service also fits. It was a completely successful evening. How were there again and definitely come back. Thank you to the great team from Waldschlößchen and until the next time!
