They act... read more We stopped here for lunch on a weekday based on Tripadvisor reviews. It turned out to be one of the best lunches we had while traveling around Corsica. They actually served pizza at lunch during the week! And its wood-fired too. My pizza margherita was large, thin crusted, and tasted very close to authentic Italian. The friendly server even brought a large bottle of spicy olive oil to the table which made the pizza taste even better. And grana padano cheese too. We also had a linguine pesto flavored with a hint of mint. It was cooked al dente just as we like it. For a moment I thought we were in Italy. Portions were very large and the prices for everything were less than we usually paid in other Corsica restaurants similar to this one. The bread and house red wine were also yummy as well. There is terrace seating and street parking out front. We can highly recommend this restaurant based on the excellent meal we had here. Note: it appears there is a Cafe du Progres and a Pizzeria du Progres side by side and under the same management. This review is of Pizzeria du Progres.
