Nachdem das Restaurant im Sommer 2016 modernisiert w... read more Die Lage des Crest Ota mit dem Ausblick gegen Süden und dem Blick auf die andere Talseite ist phantastisch. Nachdem das Restaurant im Sommer 2016 modernisiert wurde und die Führung wechselte, erhofften wir uns „einen Sprung nach vorne“. Weit gefehlt. Das Servicepersonal irrt völlig planlos im Restaurant und auf der Terrasse umher, man wartet unendlich lange, sei es zum Bestellen, auf das Essen oder anschliessend zum Zahlen. Es sei angemerkt, dass das Lokal nicht voll besetzt war! Das Essen per se ist ok und das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Aber eben, bei einem solch schlechten Service machen wir künftig man einen Bogen um das Lokal.

Nun wurde das Lokal umg... read more Wir sind oft Gäste im Crest'ota, da das Lokal direkt an der Talabfahrt zur Rothornbahn liegt und eine grosse, schöne Sonnenterrasse hat. Nun wurde das Lokal umgebaut und es strömt nun auch im Restaurant eine angenehme und schöne Atmosphäre aus; nun ist es auch ein Lokal, dass man auch Abends gerne besucht. Der Umbau ist wirklich geglückt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und speditiv, auch wenn die grosse Terrasse voll besetzt ist. Das Mittagessen war gut und preiswert, die Abendkarte werden wir ein anderes Mal testen.

For the first time, we both had a restaurant. we were not disappointed, but also expected more for the set 3 (4) curs menu at the price of chf 75. as an appetiz... read more For the first time, we both had a restaurant. we were not disappointed, but also expected more for the set 3 (4) curs menu at the price of chf 75. as an appetizer, I had laughs, then they offered an unexpected...yum suppmye, as if main course I was pot roasting (the other two choices pulled me even less (fish/lentils) and for my dessert I had a carrot cake with a bucket hateousis. as I said, I liked everything I ate and drunk, it was all good, including the service, it was cooked and beautifully presented. but all this for chf 75 per person?! I will certainly return and give them a second chance. look at themselves, they will not be disappointed, but perhaps more expected.
