After a refurbishment, this fish shop is immaculately clean and the staff are excellent. The chips were a consistent letdown, always hard. The fish on multiple occasions was bland and disappointing. Unimpressed after renovation, some felt the changes were a big mistake. However, many rave about the delicious, fresh fish and chips, citing generous portions at a reasonable price. Despite being pricier, the quality and experience at Oceans Fish and Chips in Leeds are unparalleled, drawing customers from far and wide. We got two fish and one portion chips £18.00 and the fish or should I say the lack of fish was poor. I’ve eaten fish fingers with more fish in . Absolutely disgusting.
Oceans has probably the best fish chips ever eaten. Prices are honestly avarage, you are not gonna get something for free but is worth quality. Portions are slightly bigger than normal, onion rings and chicken nuggets are fried at the order. All chips and fish are crunchy and never fluffy. I went there for a couple of takeaways and the staff is always smiley, friendly and shop is always percetly cleaned and tidy.
Fish was fresh and fried perfectly and the chips were nicely browned. I don't mind waiting for a few minutes for orders to be freshly cooked..
Decent food, no complaints and reasonable price
Delicious fish and chips, crispy batter, good portion size for a small. Quick service at a busy time of day. Friendly staff and we chose to eat in.
