This cozy traditional pub is a gem to stumble upon. The great selection of ales and the incredibly friendly staff make for a wonderful experience. Sitting next to one of the fires on a cold day is highly recommended. I would definitely visit again. View all feedback.

Contrary to the previous review. The previous owners provided an excellent choice of wine. The majority of it now is in small poor quality bottles. Unable to get a large glass of wine which is strange. The pub was always absolutely spotless but now seems shabby not as fresh as it was. Joe Irene kept an immaculate pub. Sad it's changed lots of regulars have moved on elsewhere View all feedback.

I just wanted to meet some friends. the pub was immaculately clean. there was waiter service. the beer was good and they stored alcohol-free storage.
Beautiful to get (too late) for quiz night but beautiful beer, roaring fire, courteous staff and I in nags at this weekend check chair was polished and shiny. that is it. thanks. sean and claire from approx.
Has become a regular spot for us, the new management have given the place a new lease of life. The quality of the beers has remained excellent the TT Landlord probably the best I have had. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and a welcoming crowd. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
