Mgm Pool Cafe - Las Vegas

Our family, with two kids aged 5 and 7, had a wonderful time at the pool in mid-March. Renting a daybed or cabana is definitely worth it! The property was very clean, and the staff were polite. The only drawback was that the lazy river had only been open for one day, so there wasn't enough time for the heater to warm up the water. However, the heated pools were fantastic for a 70° spring day.

Visiting any pool during a holiday weekend is bound to be crowded, but I was pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness, even when the pool was at full capacity. There are plenty of bars and restrooms available, so you never have to walk far from your lounge chair. The Lazy River is a nice length for floating along. **PRO TIP:** Bring your own tube, as you'll need to purchase one if you want to float; however, just walking through it can be enjoyable too!

I had a great time at this pool complex, but as the day went on, I noticed that trash wasn’t being picked up near the lazy river, making it feel a bit like swimming in a dump. Some areas had a distinct smell of hot garbage. This issue might not have arisen if the visitors were more mindful about disposing of their trash in the bins provided. The lazy river was quite crowded, and you need to buy floaties ($25+ each) to enjoy it. On a positive note, the staff was helpful and attentive in our reserved seating area. It’s amusing that they use paper straws but don’t recycle any of the waste. However, given that some visitors struggle to put their trash in a bin, it’s hard to believe they would sort their waste properly.

We got a cabana at the MGM and it was the best money I 've ever spent in Vegas. We had a personal server and tubes for the river we got a big credit for food and alcohol. Awesome way to recover and 'rehydrate ' after a night out ; . Also, we weren 't staying at MGM but they were cool enough to still let us rent. Highly recommend MGM pool aside from all that, may be my favorite Vegas pool and I 've been to most. Thanks MGM! see you next time.

Great time to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink, many pools to choose from and hot tubs. They have a river shaped pool where you can float around on inflatable tubs.
