I went to the restaurant and ordered a coffee. I waited for 10 minutes and had to remind the waiter to bring it to me. Then, I asked another waiter for a coffee, but after 20 minutes, no one had brought it to me. I saw other customers coming in and being served coffee right away. When I complained to the manager, she explained that they were short-staffed and missing 4 servers. I then ordered a tres leches cake, but was brought a pancake topped with lechera instead. I was extremely disappointed with the service and have no plans to return.
This fantastic no-frills diner offers a unique vegan menu. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, but be prepared for slow service.
I really appreciate that they offer a vegan menu. The California scramble was absolutely delicious and definitely my favorite dish.

However, after a total of 20 minutes, no one had brought me the coffee. I noticed that other customers who arrived after me were immediately served with their coffee. When I complained to the manager, she informed me that they were short-staffed and were lacking 4 servers. I then ordered a Tres Leches cake, but was brought a pancake with condensed milk instead. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and decided that I would not be returning to this restaurant.
They had great options for vegan food. My favorite Vegan Chilaquiles.
