We visited Mad Jack's for the first time and were incredibly happy with our experience! We ordered the rib sampler along with baked beans, mac and cheese, and a side of hush puppies. Everything was tender and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What Leah F doesn't like about Mad Jacks Bbq:
I was quite disappointed. My mom and I traveled to Massachusetts from New York and were eager to try this BBQ place we spotted yesterday. Unfortunately, the food seemed tailored for those with more delicate tastes, which was not what we were expecting for soul food. The highlight of my plate was the catfish, which was the saving grace of my meal. The staff was friendly, which helped improve our experience, and my mom... View all feedback.

Sure! Please provide the restaurant review you'd like me to rewrite.
On the positive side, all the meats were tender and juicy, and I have to give credit for that. My wife ordered the baby back ribs, which were definitely better—more smoky and tender. The sauces provided didn’t suit our taste; the house sauce was quite tomato-heavy, while the Carolina sauce had a strong apple cider vinegar flavor. The spicy and sweet tangy sauces were just okay. As for the sides, they were good, and the cornbread was pleasantly moist and sweet. The food presentation was nice, and the staff were polite, albeit a bit subdued. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and was clean, though it felt quite warm inside—almost sauna-like in the bathroom. I think it would be great for businesses like this to reduce their use of single-use plastic utensils and cups for diners. Regarding kid-friendliness, they offer a children’s menu with reasonable prices. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
The staff was friendly, which helped improve our experience, and my mom especially liked the lemonade. However, the beans had a slightly burnt taste, the cornbread resembled boxed cake mix, and the BBQ quarter chicken my mom ordered was small and underwhelming for her. It’s disheartening when you look forward to a meal and it ends up disappointing.
Mad Jack's BBQ provided catering for my daughter's wedding, featuring a make-your-own slider bar. The sides were fantastic, and everyone enjoyed the BBQ tofu and Swiss chard. The waitstaff were exceptional as well! Thank you, Mad Jack's!
