Service is great, food is bad. Especially for the price, it’s not worth it. Yesterday we ordered the pizza of the day which was a spicy volcano pizza $16). It was supposed to have bacon on it but this is what came out. Other than that, my husbandthought it was fine. It was essentially a spicy pepperoni pizza. I got the “Grahmburger” $18) which was actually prettygood. I enjoyed that. I miss the old Pounders menu, it was so much better
Very nice dine in area for community and tourists alike, really friendly service and wait staff. Desserts were delicious as was the food, you won't be disappointed with anything on the menu and we tried a variety of things including Desserts. Liked thedessert options mango cheesecake, taro haupia bars, taro rolls.
Crispy shrimp tacos with mango slaw were divine. Served piping hot and big portion too. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. So good. Husband had the pepperoni pizza from Pounder’s pizza oven. It was also delicious. Wewill be back!
Firstly, our server Shareef was wonderful, he was friendly and efficient (honestly the only reason I gave 2 stars). Our food unfortunately told a different story. I was so excited when I found out that Graham Elliot is the executive chef here, being afan of his from Master Chef Jr, I made a reservation over a month in advance of traveling to Oahu. As for the food, the wedgesalad was a sloppy plate of bagged romaine lettuce, with a pile of unripened papaya on the side, the bacon was the highlight. The margarita pizza seemed as though it was made earlier in the day and not even reheated in the brick oven, it was soggy andnot cooked in the middle, and it had sliced beefsteak tomatoes, not traditional Roma, it was very off-putting. The short rib wasjust okay, the meat was cooked well, a little under seasoned and completely drowning in BBQ sauce. The special surf and turfwas absolutely a salt bomb overload, the little seaweed asparagus looking things tasted like they were plucked directly from theocean, the steak was cooked well, but also salt overload. The entire meal was disappointing to say the least, especially becausemy expectations were set too high.
