It not only looked terrible, but it tasted awful as well. The rice seemed like it was from ages ago, and the chicken was soggy, drenched in what was meant to be curry sauce. On a positive note, the mac and cheese was decent. To the owners and chefs: please improve! It was too expensive to be this disappointing, and I really dislike wasting money.

Aside from a few dishes like spam ramen that are unique to the Hawaii locations, this serves the same food as other L&L locations. Nothing exceptional but it's predictable. This was a nice option when we wanted an easy takeout meal to bring to our hotel.

As visitors from the mainland, we didn't know much about the fantastic cuisine here, but the woman who took our order was kind and patient in guiding us. The macaroni salad was the best I've had in Maui so far, and the chicken katsu was undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. I would rate it a 10 out of 10!

We decided to check it out after arriving in Maui since it's conveniently located right across from our accommodation. It's strictly a takeout spot, and it was quite busy when we visited. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and Orange Chicken, and although it took about 45 minutes for our order to be ready, I must say the food was delicious. I'd recommend giving it a try, but do keep in mind that there might be a bit of a wait during peak hours.
