Les Saveurs Auvergnates - La Bourboule

We chose one of the "Menu de Jour" meals at €13.50 which was not the cheapest meal deal. The starter of "Salade Auvergnate" was mediocre to say the least but was almost inedible due to an excess of very sour vinaigrette. My husband had the steak which he asked to be cooked "Bien Cuit" - it was almost raw. I had lasagne which was ok but came once again with lettuce and sour vinaigrette. For our dessert we would have liked the Creme Brûlée but it was unavailable and so we had the Floating Islands which tasted as if it had come straight out of a packet. All served to us by a sulky, surly girl.
