Super super nice chicken and fresh, super crispy! Worth it

I visited the restaurant on November 25, 2021 and enjoyed the crispy fried chicken. The soy chicken was also delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste. The drink selection was a bit limited, but they do allow outside drinks to be brought in. The staff was accommodating and willing to customize dishes for group preferences. Overall, a good option for those looking for tasty chicken dishes.

I called ahead to place an order for pickup at this restaurant and was given an estimated time of 30 minutes. When I arrived at the designated time, the order was not ready and the staff told me it would be ready soon. However, I ended up waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes for just 2 dishes. There was no apology or explanation for the delay, and the server was not very communicative or hospitable. A simple apology or announcement about the delay would have been appreciated. While I understand that busy hours can result in delays, the lack of communication and service quality really detracted from the overall dining experience. It's a shame that the service did not meet expectations, as the food quality was actually quite good. The restaurant would have a better reputation if the staff were more attentive to their customers' needs.

Tasty, well seasoned and deelish!

The original Ho-Dduk was like Korean fried chicken! I enjoyed it with a little bit of spice and loved that it was larger than the typical Korean chicken portions. The skin and batter were crispy and crunchy, complementing the tender meat inside. It was the best Korean chicken I've had from popular Korean chains. The sweet chili sauce was similar to what you find at other Korean restaurants. The rice ball was a bit plain and could benefit from a sauce or more seasoning.
