Beautiful café, but unfortunately a very grumpy owner. Unfortunately, the friendly ladies at the service couldn't make up for the impression. You felt unwelcome and disruptive. We were ignored at the counter for a long time, and when we wanted to look at the covered cake in the display case, it was far too much... what a shame. It should be fun to work in such a nice café... I can't recommend it.
A real insider tip in the area surrounding Berlin. The atmosphere in the historic Scheunenviertel in Kremmen is unique. For a moment you don't think you're in Brandenburg, but rather in Tuscany. There is a wide selection of wines and delicacies. The owner is still personally in the kitchen. We stayed here with the family and enjoyed it very much. Had excellent cake and several cold cuts, with the ham being cut fresh. There was also delicious bread and homemade apricot lard. We really enjoyed the afternoon here.
Even though it was actually open there was a closed sign on the door. Inside, the dog was barking behind the glass door and a person was walking around the store looking at us. We wanted to order for a family celebration, but apparently there is no interest in new customers or sales. Too bad. To answer: It's good that you can walk around the store while preparing for catering, but ignore potential guests. One thing is true: besides barking, the dog was also the best impression behind the glass door.
Unfriendly and inattentive staff, not recommended. The enjoyment of good food is spoiled when you're treated like you're a nuisance.
