My mom enjoyed t... read more My mom and I visited Mr. Joy for breakfast on her birthday. We had soup regularly in Iceland, but the Tom Yum soup at Mr. Joy was our favorite! My mom enjoyed the special of the day, a delicious eggplant dish. I also ordered a smoothie and lattes, and the staff was very kind and helped us set up a comfortable table in the small restaurant. When they learned it was my mom's birthday, they surprised us with a fantastic brownie, which we used as her birthday cake later that evening. I highly recommend checking out Mr. Joy if you're in Kopavogur, especially if you're visiting the nearby sky lagoon for a fantastic meal before or after your visit.
