Excellent 5 stars doesn 't give credit to this restaurant. Out of this world, pure beauty, a special rating just for restaurants of outstanding performance. Rested on the side of the mountain, surrounded by lush vegetation. The decor fits the restaurant next to the seating area is their garden where the lovely owner goes hand picks the veg herbs. We had the tasting menu. The food, WOW. Both presentation taste were sublime. We were left speechless by all the well balanced flavours. Even the tea herbs were handpicked in front of us. This is by far my favourite restaurant and well worth the trip from Beirut or even from the UK just to go there. You will no doubt fall in love with the hospitality, decoration, tastes and even smells you 're immersed into. Thank you so much

As one of the only vegan restaurants in the Chouf district, Coara really stands out with its commitment to sourcing most of its ingredients from its own garden. This really adds to the deliciousness of the food and sets it apart from other restaurants. They also sell some products from their garden, such as herbs and spices, which are all incredibly fresh and flavorful. One thing that really stood out to me was the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes. The chefs made sure to decorate the plates with beautiful flowers from their garden, which added an extra touch of elegance to the dining experience. I was blown away by the freshness and flavor of the dishes everything tasted like it was straight from the garden! The owners of Coara always made a point of educating us about the ingredients they used, even picking plants to show us endemic plants we didn't know about. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance of the restaurant was peaceful and relaxing. Overall, my dining experience at Coara was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a delicious, plant based meal in a beautiful location.
