I have a tree nut allergy, and the chocolate cake was marked as allergy-safe on the restaurant's website. I asked Elise if she could check the ingredients for me, and she kindly went to look at the box. She took a picture and returned to show me that it was processed in a facility that handles peanuts and other nuts, which makes it unsafe for me to eat. I am incredibly grateful for her extra effort, as it saved me from having to use my epinephrine injector—a serious risk when restaurants inaccurately label allergy-free items. The salad bar was clean and well-stocked, and the deconstructed beef kabobs were delicious. Thanks to Elise's great service and friendly demeanor, our lunch was truly enjoyable. I hope she receives recognition or a bonus from the restaurant for going above and beyond. I also mentioned her attentiveness to the gentleman at the front desk. For those with dietary restrictions: I have a tree nut allergy. While the chocolate cake was advertised as safe on the website, the packaging indicates that it is processed in a facility with peanuts and nuts, making it unsafe for individuals with allergies.
