Seared - Itasca

Went here for the Elf Pop Up Christmas experience. Food and service was amazing. The Steak and Salmon we ordered was delicious. And obviously the place was all decked out with Elf movie references. It was definitely a fun time! The place offers a vast range of delicious food. I enjoy dining here. The employees are always kind, prices are fair and the spot is always clean.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We came here for a birthday last weekend and were seated in the private room. Our waitress was very nice but extremely overwhelmed she was serving us and a bunch of other tables. It took an HOUR for her to take down our drinks, and another half hour for us to receive them. The cocktail menu is very limited with every cocktail only being a martini I think there was 1 margarita but that's all. Apps came out everything was good I ordered the tuna, then for the main I ordered the bone-in ribeye and that's when sh*t hit the fan. So I ordered my steak med rare. (I love steak eat it on a weekly bases) steak come out medium well. Steak was kind of pricy so I asked the waitress to send it back for my desired temp. Things like this happen it's okay. Moments after I sent it back the manger comes up to me with the steak I sent back and asks me how I ordered it. I said I ordered it medium rare he with his hands gropes the steak from the plate and said this is how we cook medium rare so how exactly do you want it. I was in utter shock. I replied, I'd like my steak medium rare. Where it's pink in the middle with a touch of blood, I pointed to my fiancé steak as hers was cooked correctly. He replied to me so you want it rare. I paused and said no.... I want it medium rare. He took it away and brought me a new steak and asked me to cut into it. The steak was so raw that it was still cold in the middle when I put my finger to it. The a-hole of the manager said what it's still not good, I replied this steak is inedible. He was extremely rude to me. Made an entire scene during our dinner luckily this was my family at my table but I have never experienced such unprofessional service in my life. I really hope that manager gets fired. Throughout our entire dinner the waitress never came up to us and asked to refill our drinks or ask how everything is. Partially her fault but partially she had to many tables. Restaurant lost on a good about or business because we would have all liked to order 2-3 more drinks since we were celebrating a big Birthday. My recommendation don't go here. There are other steak restaurants in the area.

Great ambience and attentive staff that provided great service. The food was delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back again!
