I've never tried German sausages before, but it was pretty good! Waitress was really sweet and was nice enough to give us a big table outdoors. The experience exceeded my expectations in view of the circumstances regarding COVID. I also liked that she asked a couple who didn't wear their masks to definitely follow their masks in this place. We ordered the classic standards of Vietnamese cuisine, starting with a skewered chicken satay served with a sweet and salty peanut sauce. Like a good saty, it remembered street food you could stumble into while exploring a busy downtown. In the finely decorated dining room we no longer sat from a lively street. With the elegant decor and open kitchen you can see your order as it is whipped from one station to another in a perfect orchestration of preparation. The pig bell spring rolls were remarkably refreshing, balance the fat and sweetness of the pig with the fresh herb of the raw vegetables. Afterwards, shrimps and yamsfries were where mint leaves, shrimps, panko-fried yamsfries, and a sweet chili sauce are combined in a pack to create some of the most amazing flavors that finger food could offer. The ingredients were fresh and balanced, making an amazing crescendo in this food symphony. In keeping with traditional mentality, we have ordered Pho as our entree, a classic Viatnamese soup served with noodles and your choice of protein. Even on the beautiful warm day when we went to Phans 55, the steaming Pho was perfect. The broth was the perfect example for bleeding the flavors of the meat, while adding freshness with the raw bean sprouts. To finish the meal, we had a rainbow assortment of Macaroons and a cool Mango Sorbet.
I'm one of the Germans who never eat German. Unless I'm in CA because the soup kitchen is the most authentic and friendly German restaurant I was outside Germany.
The place serves large portions and for fair prices. very nice owner. Great work.
Pretty good pho, and a welcoming, chill environment. What else is there to say? Sure, I’d go there again.
