Today, on the 23rd of December, we stopped by for a quick lunch. The service was attentive and friendly, and our order was quickly filled. The menu had a wide variety of options, especially for children. We ordered two chicken escalope salad sandwiches and cappuccinos. The cappuccinos were large and delicious, and the sandwiches were generously filled. We enjoyed our meal and plan to visit again soon.
We stopped by for a late afternoon cup of tea and were impressed by the restaurant's extensive opening hours, clean and stylish decor, and delicious tea. While I am annoyed when tea bags are left in the cup without a place to put them, the selection of standard cafe meals and Mediterranean favorites, along with the efficient service, make this a place we would definitely return to for a more substantial meal.
My wife had a weekday business meeting over coffee at this cafe/restaurant and I joined her afterwards for lunch. By then the place had become very busy. This restaurant cooks with soya bean oil rather than rapeseed, which suited my wife's dietary intolerance. It did take a while, however, for the restaurant to identify the oil they use. Like many places, the staff do not understand that there are several types of vegetable oil. In fact, the friendly, if confused, manager did not realize that soya bean was a vegetable! We both ordered omelettes which were tasty and well presented. The large portions represented very good value for money. The place itself is pleasant enough and clean. Very close to the pretty Bushey Rose Gardens with plenty of free parking nearby.
We stopped in for breakfast to warm us up after visiting Santa at the Bushey rose gardens. The cafe was busy but luckily we got a table. We all enjoyed a cooked breakfast although the sausages weren’t very nice, cheap cafe sausages rather than quality ones. The staff were polite and friendly. We liked the decor and the Christmas decorations. Would return again.
Stopped here for mid morning breakfast on a Saturday morning, it was busy which usually is a good sign for food. Ordered my food and it was served quickly and hot. The staff were friendly and the value very good. The place was clean and tidy with staff clearing tables as customers left. When in need of food and in the area I will definitely visit again
