A really good Christmas buffalo....Poron quake and real positivity, first meal table, or should I say boat. Dessert cheese on the table. Miljöö Lapi’s chosen was comfortably beautiful and decorated with a lovely Christmas light and decoration.

Excellent meal and stellar service. We went this evening while visiting Helsinki. My husband got the reindeer and I got the vegetarian shepherds pie. Not made with the fake meat…all plant based and exceptional. The tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had. Our server was so attentive and Knowles le. He was a pleasure to talk to. The traditionally Finnish food is amazing and we would highly recommend this restaurant.

Date Visited: December 19, 2024 Price per Person: €59 Positive Aspects: The restaurant ambiance is both nice and unique, providing a genuine Lapland dining experience, which is particularly appealing if it's your first time. A variety of starters precede the main course, each offering fresh and tasty options. Areas for Improvement: The main course selection is disappointingly limited, with only reindeer meat (Venison) and fish available. Desserts were a significant letdown in terms of both variety and quality. Additionally, the coffee, served from an Insulated Pump Action Airpot, lacked the quality one would expect in a restaurant setting, especially compared to being freshly brewed from a proper coffee machine. Final Verdict: While the €59 price tag is justified for the unique first time experience of Lapland cuisine and the lovely atmosphere, it falls short in terms of the culinary offerings, particularly the main courses and desserts.
