What Clémence Foucher dislikes about La Squadra:
a good reception, correct meals, well represented dishes make efforts to maintain the restaurant. but they would need a person in reinforcement because they get submerged by details like the dishes that stay with traces (covers and glasses), other disappointments with frozen foods (mentioned) compared to too many choices in pizza. It's not the best pizza in my life, but it was pretty good. the set is simple and a small kitch. but prices are consistent and therefore rather affordable.
As usual, helpful, pleasant and always eating also: dishes are always very well garnished. I recommend.
Welcome. pizza choice. A generous salad. on the other hand, the holy jacco does not taste the damage of the jacco.

Four of us went here and all had Moules. Very fresh and lots of frites and bread. Really friendly owners and service was excellent. Not too expensive and a great place for lunch. A little off the normal track but worth looking out for.
Went today with my wife for lunch. Have been twice before and usually go for the menu du jour, almost without asking what it is. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't one today but we shouldn't have worried! I had burger maison with beautifully cooked minced steak, bacon, cheese and sauce, served with real chips. My wife went for moules which she said were great. We both followed with cafe gourmand, having had a beer each with our meal. Absolutely satisfied as usual at this family run place. Not in a place which is a resort but a lot of locals use it so it must be good!
If you like your pizzas authentic and 'au feu de bois ' this is the place for you. There is plenty of choice and all delicious. Always welcomed with a smile, the service is excellent too. Also try their Kirs they are really good and you get plenty of snackies to nibble on while you wait for your pizza.
We went on Monday after a walk along the nearby ecluses. As is our habit we chose the menu du jour, nearly always the best value anywhere in France. We both had nice terrine to start, bavette, cooked as requested and tender, then tiramisu, delicious. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. We will visit again when we are in the area next.
