What Humberto Santana R doesn't like about Cuba Libro:
Don't get it. A business with the door (grill) closed. Customers must wait for someone to open the cage Cuba Libro just another name in the scenario of Cuban entrepreneurship View all feedback.
We visited a few years ago and thought the owner was somewhat rude to us because she was very standoff-ish and acted like she didn’t want to speak to us. However, my husband and I did leave her some feminine hygiene products and older magazines to share with her customers and other visitors, as well as purchased 2 drinks and stamps and postcards. I was very excited to visit this bookstore on my first trip to Havana, but to be honest, I’d never go again.

Fantastic place with great young spirit and cheap prices
This little cafe/bookstore is a unique place for Havana. Just at the edge of Vedado, there's lots of diferent quiet seating spots spread around the shop. Good coffee and we got hooked on the super-sweet chocolate croissant. It's an English language bookstore, yet it was busy. Also, the owner allows you to drop off donations (medicine or food or whatever) that they deliver to needy folks in Cuba.
