I 'll start with the negatives: the toilet seat in the room practically fell off, it took 4 days to fix it. I must add that repairing the damage caused by the big storm consumed a lot of energy and time. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, the card holder that ensures the electricity is hanging, there is no mosquito net (spiders also lived in the room), the air conditioner was set at a fixed 23 degrees, it was impossible to turn it on. The extra bed is a hard armchair bed and the air conditioning is aimed directly at it. The TV in the room is unpleasant. The water in the wellness pool is very cold. When refilling the buffet, you get the terrible feeling that they are saving money on the guest. I don 't support waste, but I don 't accept that the popular Milanese macaroni is classified as sold out at 6:30 pm during your dinners between 6 and 8 pm. When I indicated this, they made it immediately. The cookie every evening is pudding and marlenka and baby sponge cake with different pudding flavors. What is positive is that the staff is very kind and attentive, the hotel is close to the spa, parking is good, the hotel itself has a beautiful interior and a cozy interior garden. Breakfast and dinner offer many options and the food is delicious. Not a bad choice in terms of value for money. They tried to remedy the problems that arose, so the balance sheet is more positive. Luxuriously furnished hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and great drinks. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Beautiful hotel. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very delicious. I was very surprised that there is a time for coffee and cookies in the restaurant section in the afternoon. The hotel rooms are small, but we didn't mind that because we were hiking anyway and only spent time there in the evening. The spa area was very good, if you want to take a dip in the afternoon or evening or in the morning or take a sauna, I can recommend it to those vacationing there. There is a rainforest-style shower that I recommend for children and adults. The hotel was huge and the staff was very nice. The hotel was clean and had a park and there is a small sign in front of the hotel where it is worth taking photos. A very nice hotel within walking distance from the wonderful medicinal thermal baths in Harkany. The hotel is right at the bus stop from Pecs, which makes it easy to get to from the train coming from Budapest. We foregot a couple of clothing items when we left, and the staff not only immediately found them, but will send them to our address in Budapest. This is a good hotel with great food and a value. If you are an international and would like to have a more affordable option than budapest, this is a recommended experience.
I can only join the praise of others. We were also on vacation in Hungary at the Xavin Hotel. I praise everything about the rooms, the air conditioning, the bathroom, the food. Everything was just amazing. This year we are preparing to go to Hungary again to the Xavin Hotel. Rooms: Great Nearby activities: There are many activities in the area. Go there on vacation and you will see. Safety: What can I say, safe. Walkability: A short walk from the thermal baths Food drinks: The food can't be faulted. Just good, good. Noteworthy details: Mosquitoes multiplied and in the evening they were sprayed in the city. They informed us about it the day before and asked us not to go outside and to close the windows. The next day was quiet.
