I was hesitant about this place because I’ve seen too many tequila bars that try too hard and their food is awful. BUT THIS PLACE. It’s sooo good! The inside is pretty small and the outside has a couple of tables, but the vibe and decor are great. The bartender was really sweet. The margarita was amazing. Not some bottle margarita mix. I ordered a spicy passionfruit margarita and it was SUPER SPICY. Warning for all those people who can’t handle real spicy. The tacos, albeit pricey, are well worth it! They pile on the meat and it’s flavorful and tender. I didn’t use any hot sauce on my tacos which is super RARE But these tacos had the right spice and seasonings. Double tortilla. No stupid orange shredded cheese. These are the makings of a real tequila bar. However, I will say that the rice and beans aren’t the best If they nail that down, then they’d get a 5
We went on a Saturday for dinner, and the only table available was by the door. The draft from the constant rush of people coming and leaving does make it a bit uncomfortable. However, everything else was nicely done; from the attentive of the wait staff to the food we ordered.
Food was top rate, best wing I have ever eaten, smokehouse poutine was out of this world and their S&M Marg was a truly unique and delicious experience. Awesome environment 6/5 if I could!
The restaurant offers a wide variety of bar food and beer options (no hard seltzers available). The appetizer pretzel was just the right size and the whipped ricotta was a pleasant surprise. Our main courses (chicken pot pie and rigatoni bolognese) were filling, but not overly large, leaving room for some cocktails after dinner.
