Ponti - Hamburg

It rains and rains in Hamburg, but in the Ponti restaurant there is a somewhat southern atmosphere. The service is friendly, you feel welcome. We ever order a glass of white wine and get 2 dl each. If we look into the map, we see that half a liter would have been cheaper. The pizzas taste good, but have too much onion for our taste. After dinner we can pay quickly, the value for money is right for us.

Ich besuche das Restaurant seit mehr als 20 Jahren 1- 2 x im Jahr. Es liegt super zentral am Gänsemarkt in der Hamburger City. Es gibt hauptsächlich einfache aber gute italienische Küche, sprich Pizza und Pasta, aber auch Fleich und Fisch.Die Preise sind über die Jahre human geblieben !Ich liebe Maccaroni al Forno!!!!Gerne immer wieder

Gute Nudelgerichte und moderate Preise. Geeignet für die Mittagspause, da die Gerichte zügig serviert werden. Die Pizzen sind auch in Ordnung. Wenig Kritik und wenig Highlights. Dennoch einer der besseren Italiener am Gänsemarkt und Umgebung.

This is a cosy pizza/pasta place which was near our hotel. The pizzas were good and the kids enjoyed them which makes everyone happy! Pizza base was a bit doughy and would have been better if the egg was runny, but tasty although the pasta coming out of the kitchen looked more inviting. Hubby's pork dish was good and there was loads of it. Service was friendly and the waitress spoke good English, which alongside our average level of German got us by. The wine, a Primitivo, was good and the ambience was warm, although a little bit stuck in the eighties - could have been the choice of music.Wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't dismiss it either.
