The staff are nice in a wholesome/honest way. Everyone who works there seems to enjoy their job. You can’t get a bad meal here. Everything on the menu is savory. I’ve gone there twice now (2 years apart), and I have nothing but good things to say. Prices do reflect an up scale restaurant as with carte blanche and the grange, however the food and drinks are worth the price. I hope this restaurant operates for years to... View all feedback.
What tina marie kumiega doesn't like about Daniels:
Never going back. Had just finished our dessert and still had wine was asked to pay bill and leave because table needed. Just at 1.5 hours. We had apps, dinner, one glass of wine and were rushed out. If you overbook it isn’t my fault. View all feedback.
Oysters were fresh and superb. Service attentive and knowledgeable. Lobster bucatinni was delish. Halibut was cooked perfect.
Food and service was above and beyond anyone’s expectations! We will be back!
Some great points some that need improving. GREAT service aesthetic to start out, but no bread for the table. We got oysters which were fresh, ice cold perfectly clean, but no cocktail sauce or a spoon or anything to get the mignonette sauce. Our steaks (strip and a ribeye) were cooked medium rare as we requested. But there was no truffle butter flavor on the strip and the Ribeye was SO garlicy it was near off-putting. The potatoes we still pretty raw and hard inside which was a shame because they had great flavor. The asparagus had a nice light char they were still crisp. So overall, not an awful meal but there could definitely be some tweaks.
Could use some more appetizer and entree options. Overall a decent place.
Still my favorite restaurant in Buffalo. Food and service are both excellent. My favorite is the crispy deviled eggs and anything with mezcal mixed up by the bartenders. Always such a fun place.
