The Aldwark Arms - York

We had an amazing breakfast experience at Aldwark Weapons thanks to Jim and his team. After a recommendation, we contacted Jim to ensure a great time and he did not disappoint. The presentation of the food was excellent, all homemade and delicious. The traditional breakfast was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Jim's experience shone through in the dessert table he prepared for us. The staff were professional and delivered high-quality service throughout the day. We highly recommend Jim and Aldwark Weapons for any outdoor event. Thank you to everyone involved for a wonderful experience.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant on a sunny Saturday evening. We were seated in the udder room and received a pleasant welcome. Our table was as described and ready for us. The pub was busy, but we received excellent and attentive service throughout our meal. We did not feel neglected at any point. The food was of a good standard, though it was quite expensive. We had two courses and felt satisfied, as we couldn't manage a third.

Good food from a wide ranging menu at good prices. The service was friendly and they were thoughtful enough to inform us that there would be a slight delay with the food. Nice local pub atmosphere. One bit of constructive criticism the dessert sponges were a little heavy and merengue a little hard. Having said that I’d certainly go again!

Amazing meal in the private dining room. Lovely views and friendly service. Brilliant for the children too. Great playground across the road.
