Description

Nestled away in a bustling arcade, Archers Café presents a mixed bag of experiences. Renowned for its tantalizing ice cream, including unique flavors like Turkish delight, the café boasts a cozy ambiance and friendly staff. However, diners frequently cite sluggish service, with long waits for both food and drinks dampening the experience. While some have praised the recent refurbishments and improvements in food quality under new management, others lament poorly cooked breakfasts and cold meals. For those seeking quality ice cream and decent coffee amidst inconsistent service, Archers Café remains an intriguing yet unpredictable destination.

We only called in because every where was full, there was no latte coffee, the coffee I got was like dish water,I asked for it to be changed and got mud.we ordered soup and tea cake.when asked if there was bread buns waitress said we may have some slices of bread somewhere.the meal never actually came after 45 mins and we asked for our money back ,which we got with a comment the waitress had problems.the table beside us asked for sauce for there sandwiche and were given a nearly empty bottle that looked as if it had been picked out of the bin.

I visited this restaurant this morning for breakfast, although it was more like lunchtime. We ordered an all day breakfast and a vegetarian one. Unfortunately, everything was served cold and we were nearly finished by the time the toast arrived. The sausage was bland and pale, the bacon and fried egg were undercooked. After eating, I felt physically ill and don't plan on returning. I hope it was just a bad day based on other reviews. I should have known it wouldn't be a good experience when there was nowhere to dry my hands in the restroom.

I enjoy coming to this restaurant for coffee when I'm in town. They serve good coffee and delicious ice cream. It's a cozy spot with friendly staff and reasonable prices. However, they could benefit from having more staff as the service can be a bit slow. Overall, I will definitely be returning.

This small, cozy café offers delicious food at affordable prices. All our dishes were freshly made to order and the staff was very friendly.
