The Windsor Castle - London
The Windsor Castle
Description
A cozy pub in Hackney with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that serves up delicious roasts on Sundays and a variety of other tasty options. From amazing pork belly to fabulous cocktails, there are plenty of reasons to visit this establishment. The staff are friendly and the service is top-notch, making it a favorite among locals and newcomers alike. The only downside seems to be the limited menu and the occasional culinary miss, but overall, this pub seems to have a lot to offer for a memorable dining experience.

Very restricted menu on which the only carbs are slices of bread at £4.00 for 2 slices. We had really delicious first courses and a big bill and went home to fill up.
Culinary disappointment: really sorry to say that but the food is just so bad. We came for Sunday roast Where you expect to get potatoes with gravy and nice piece of meet And instead They give you lentil stew with fat pork belly seasoned with heaps of salt. Everything overpriced. Not coming back there. Shame .
I picked this venue for my 60th birthday celebration with my family because it is very close to where I was born at the Salvation Army Mother's Hospital! It was a good choice. The staff were lovely and accommodating. They were fine with me bringing my own cake and flowers for the table. I LOVED the huge wooden table that we sat at for the evening (with two small children). We could spread out in a totally relaxed way. The chefs were really lovely, and the food delicious and beautifully cooked. They specially prepared meals for the two children who are dairy intolerant. I would highly recommend this ambient pub/restaurant. Thank you!
Love what you do but the dining room is too dark. I'm all for mood lighting but seriously guys...
