Bowler City - Hackensack
Bowler City
Description
Bowler City remains a beloved neighborhood bowling alley—nostalgic, clean, and welcoming—ideal for friends, families and school trips. Generous parking, an attentive staff, a snack shop and bar, and easy reservations make it a reliable choice for birthdays and casual nights out (they even allow BYO cake). Food and pizza are generally tasty though occasional limited stock has been noted. League play dominates at times; some visitors have reported dry lanes, ball scuffing, and inconsistent last-minute lane availability.

We had a wonderful time with the family! The pizza was delicious and definitely a must-try.
My favorite bowling alley! I visited this place back in the day with my classmates from school, and it’s still amazing for bowling with friends and on school field trips. The venue is very clean and tidy, and the food is delicious. The employees are also friendly and welcoming. This has always been one of my favorite spots since I was a kid!
There aren't many bowling alleys left, but this one has been a staple for a long time. There's plenty of parking available, along with a bar and a snack shop. While it mainly caters to league bowlers these days, it's still a great spot for family fun.
This bowling alley is fantastic! You have a blast, and the prices for all the games, drinks, and food are really affordable.
Most of the times I've visited this place (2 out of 3), the lanes were completely dry, and the ball return left nicks and cracks on several of the balls belonging to me and my friends. I also requested to add 4 games for the 4 of us at 10:30, but they declined, even though they had just accommodated the lanes next to us moments earlier. Instead, we added two games among the four of us and managed to finish them in just 12 minutes.
