What User doesn't like about Restaurante Algarve:
We went there my husband and children. We waited ages as everybody else to be honest. Then the meal arrived, a metal tray with little pieces of chicken, another with salad and another with fries, exactly as in the photo. It does not matter...if it is a table of or the amount is the same. For drink we asked for a big bottle of water BILL WAS EUROS. Não tem nada que enganar. Franco no ponto é delicioso. Batatas fritas caseiras. Doce da casa agradável. Acima de tudo, excelente qualidade e preço muito razoável. Vamos todos os anos a este restaurante e continuaremos a ir!
Last night after shopping at the guia retail center. very excited as we love chicken piri piri piri. small **** in our tomato/blade salad. when we pointed out that the waitress took it and did not offer an excuse. we told her we didn't want to have a rest. when piri chips arrived (for three of us) was only one part and they were overcooked. the chicken was cut into very small pieces and not very pleasant. it should be a half-hewn that they must have been very small birds? also 4.5 cover for tasteless olives and near stale brot added. the total bill was 36 euro (no fee for salat), which would normally consider a good value, but in this case was a waste of money! still we stared when we were on the cheese, sink and ice when we came back to the apartment. a big swallow.
No idea whether this was the best hun in the city, but no complaining, as it tasted fantastic! family-run restaurant, no frightening for a table like many others, and wonderfully fresh tomatoes and homemade chips as a guide. must go for the sticky,...gooey cowardly, for the desert to die!
Back here again, and again the best piri piri ever!! I don’t know how they make the sauce but it is to die for!! Real authentic Portuguese restaurant, no frills or fancies but everyone should try it!
