I noticed a young girl working who started restocking items in the vegetable section, and her gloves became saturated with juices and covered in food. She then went on to touch various objects in the restaurant, including containers, handles, and the oven, before using those same unhygienic gloves to handle my sandwich without giving me a chance to object. When I expressed my concern while paying, she responded with attitude, dismissing my complaint and mocking me in front of her coworkers. Having worked in the food service industry for 10 years, I find it shocking that an employee would think it acceptable to never change gloves or to treat a customer that way. I have reported this incident to corporate as well as to the Macon County Health Department. Unfortunately, I will never return to this location, even though it is convenient for me since I work at the hospital. I am extremely disappointed.

It seems like she ca... read more The woman working there takes far too long to make sandwiches. I waited in line for 30 minutes with four other people, which is ridiculous. It seems like she can't stand her job and is intentionally dragging things out to make people leave instead of serving them. Many of the customers are nurses and other hospital workers who only have a limited lunch break, and when they choose this subway, they end up spending their entire break waiting.
