Highlights include standout breakfast and seafood dishes, a cozy bar with piano, and strong suitability for showers, birthdays, theater nights and group dining. A few guests report dim or chilly seating, limited tea sampling, and an inconsistent holiday buffet, but overall it remains a charming, event-friendly destination for casual meals and special occasions.
Our breakfast experience was enhanced by an excellent server, and the menu featured a diverse selection. My wife savored a tasty lox and bagel platter, while I went with the classic bacon and eggs. The food was good overall, though the atmosphere was a bit lacking—it felt too dim and uncomfortably chilly.
We visited Spoonbread as a group of seven without a reservation, and they still managed to accommodate our picky eaters with ease. The prices were affordable, portions generous, and the food quality exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our table was satisfied, and the beautiful architecture added to the experience. This place is truly a hidden gem, and we look forward to returning.

Located at 102 South Main St, inside the Westin hotel beside the Peace Center, it’s an ideal spot. Be sure to make a reservation and dress in business casual. They also offer excellent coffee, fresh fruit plates, and delicious omelettes. Highly recommended! Open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM.
I liked the cheese biscuits and the seafood chowder. Nice place for breakfast and a quiet evening meal. Great location at 102 South Main St inside the Westin hotel beside the Peace Center. My MIL booked here for my baby shower back in April and I was such a wonderful experience! The details in the decor were beautiful! The food was so good and the wait staff was amazing.The wait staff even put together a sweet gift basket for me inhonor of my newest arrival. I definitely recommend.
