Food was good, large portions and tasty for a pretty reasonable price. Service was mediocre on this occasion, but there was a wedding party in the a large area of the restaurant.
Party of 20 people, Not one person had a complaint about the food as you would expect atleast one but absolutely spot on. Top service really made the day special.
Went here for a family celebration, a lot of items on their menu were out of stock and service was very slow. Took almost an hour for our mains to arrive but food was delicious and the staff were apologetic for the wait.
Tried this restaurant for the first time with a group lunch, the food was excellent with a wide and varied menu. All the meals were served in good time and piping hot, steak pies, gammon steaks and fish n chips, and were all well received by the group, the desserts were to die for with large servings too, all finished off with a nice selection of coffees. Staff were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. We were seated in the conservatory area which although cold outside was very warm and comfortable inside. I would recommend it and will return again.
