The location was remarkable! We primarily visited for the unique view of Glasgow. The afternoon tea selection was fairly standard compared to other options in the city, but it was more than satisfactory. In my opinion, it's a fantastic spot to take your mother for a delightful treat!
When we couldn't finish everything, our wonderful waitress kindly packed up the leftovers for us to take home. One of the highlights was that the tea was served hot, rather than just warm, and we were provided with proper teacups, allowing us to enjoy a decent drink. We were offered tea "top-ups," but since each pot only held enough for three cups, we didn't opt for any extras. The experience was made even more special for my husband when the chef sent out a special plate with "Happy Birthday" piped in chocolate, accompanied by a delicious cake and sliced strawberries. It was such a thoughtful touch for our celebration. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend Windows Restaurant for a wonderful afternoon tea experience. We hope to return soon!
We enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea with Prosecco here, with wonderful views over the Glasgow city centre skyline. We were served a delicious assortment of sandwiches, brioche rolls, sausage rolls, scones with jam and clotted cream, and a yummy selection of cakes. We can't wait to go back!
Very accommodating staff very friendly, short waiting times, no hurry to move us on etc etc, I highly recommend this place to get away from the hustle and bustle on the high streets and very affordable too, great for tired kids (try get the sofa tables). We didn't book we walked in from the street as we were tired and hungry and it was raining. Perfect, thank you.
