Description

A comprehensive review of the restaurant reveals a mix of experiences. Some diners were disappointed with burned and bland food, while others enjoyed delicious meals, particularly the burgers. Service received mixed reviews, with some mentioning disinterested waitstaff while others praised the friendly service and efficient staff. The ambiance was generally described as pleasant, with good music and decor. While some faced issues with reservations and slow service, others found the experience satisfactory. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential for improvement in consistency in food quality and service.

If there's one thing you must try at this restaurant, it's the Cajun fries - they're absolutely delicious. The halloumi burger was good, but not outstanding. It was a bit too large to eat easily, requiring you to deconstruct it a bit because the peppers and other toppings made it a bit unwieldy. However, I would still recommend this place and would definitely return, especially for the fries. The decor is charming, resembling an American diner with brick walls, blue and red vinyl chairs and booths, and even a car front on the wall. The staff were friendly and not too intrusive, allowing you to simply enjoy your meal.

The food was delicious. I ordered the pulled pork fries as a side and the chicken tenders as an appetizer. Both dishes were tasty and prepared well. I probably should have also ordered a side of the corn, as it looked delicious too.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The veggie burger was delicious, and the fries were reminiscent of In-N-Out. I finished off my meal with a delicious chocolate peanut butter shake. The staff was amazing.

The restaurant is now overpriced and average. It is not as good as it used to be and I will most likely avoid it in the future. I usually enjoy ordering burgers here, but this time I opted for a sandwich which was a letdown. I felt like I was ripped off paying £10 for a sandwich that was smaller than a finger roll, especially considering that the side of mac and cheese was larger. The onion rings were disappointing as well, and the drinks were too expensive. I would give it 1.5 stars as the food still tasted decent, but the price of £35 for a quick meal for two with drinks seemed too high for what was offered. I used to be a regular customer here before moving away from Glasgow a few years ago. The burgers used to be great with a wide variety of unique combinations, but now they seem boring and plain, with extra charges for toppings. The atmosphere has also changed for the worse. Unfortunately, I think this is the end of Ad Lib burgers for me.
