The Georgetown Roadhouse is the 40 minute lunch time stop for the up to 25 passengers who travel on the thrice weekly Trans-North bus from Cairns - Normanton - Karumba and vice versa. The food on offer is OK..pre-prepared sandwiches, pies etc, however the potential is there in today's service driven tourism experience to offer better catering by circulating a limited hot food menu to the passengers and telephoning ahead the requirements so the food has been cooked before arrival. The Roadhouse doubles as Georgetown's grocery and provisions store as well.

Great service, good old fashioned tucker with friendly staff. Do stop when next in Georgetown and have a cuppa.

Stopped by for fuel, food and coffee. It was really busy when we were there, but the staff worked hard to get the food out quickly and to a good quality.

This restaurant is amazing! I tried the homemade soup and the chimichurri beef wrap with Caesar salad. The flavors were incredible and the food tasted fresh.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and it has consistently lived up to its name, meal after meal.
