What Jeff Abshire doesn't like about China 1:
Wish I could rate them higher. Went once, didn't like it so we tried it again and felt the same. The egg foo young was good but the gravy had a taste that ruined it. I couldn't decide but it seemed like nutmeg. My wife's black pepper chicken had a similar flavor as did the fried rice. Her chicken was heavily breaded with a hint of chicken buried in it. Great food if you order inside. Nice and hot. Good quantity and quality.
My fiance and I love to stop here when we go fishing at Guist Creek! Great food!
Spoke with the woman at the front and asked about the Mongolian beef. Was it made with the green onions or all white onions, I ask. She states, both. Technically, she didn't lie, but it would have been more accurate to state it was made with white onions, and half of a green onion/scallion, especially because I asked. Further, Mongolian beef is not Peppered beef. Yet, that is how this Mongolian beef is made, with table pepper. Spicy Mongolian beef should be made with peppers....not cheap table pepper. Terrible food. Never go there again. White rice is oily.
Small seating area. Good food. We always spend around $35 to $40 for two people. Perfect cherry sauce.
